We are a small, local fishing guide company based in Sevettijärvi, in the heart of Inari. For us, fishing is not just a hobby — it is a way of life, one we are happy to share with you. We offer guided fishing trips throughout the year: by boat or from the shore in summer, and ice fishing in winter on our beautiful, crystal-clear lakes. We know the best and quietest areas, so our trips take you away from everyday bustle and into true northern calm.

It is a great honour for me to introduce our beautiful Indigenous culture. I believe that the peoples of the North have much to teach us all. The Skolt Sámi way of moving through nature, respecting the environment and living in balance with it is an inspiring example for everyone.
I am responsible for ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and that the atmosphere at our farmstead is warm and comfortable.
My greatest dream is to help strengthen the Skolt Sámi community, protect nature, and deepen people’s connection with the natural world. I feel privileged to learn more each day about the rich and living world of Skolt Sámi culture.
Jouko, wilderness expert and your fishing guide
Tiõrv, my name is Jouko. I grew up in Sevettijärvi within the Skolt Sámi community, in a family of reindeer herders.
Sámi traditions mean a great deal to me. I learned fishing and reindeer herding from my own family, and I have fished since childhood — fly fishing, lure fishing, ice fishing, salmon fishing and net fishing. Through the Skolt Sámi language, I gain deeper insight into the landscape, history and way of life of this region.
I have received warm feedback for my strong knowledge of the local terrain and for my ability to describe nature with precise and meaningful Sámi terms — words that carry generations of understanding of the land.
