Fishing trip prices
Our trips are suitable for both beginner and experienced anglers, and each outing is planned according to the group’s skills and wishes.
Every trip combines Skolt Sámi traditional knowledge, respect for nature and safe travel in the wilderness. We operate in small groups to ensure the experience remains calm, personal and unhurried.
Guided fishing day in summer:

Depending on the season, we take you to the finest fishing experiences — from fly fishing in clear-flowing streams to ice fishing on quiet winter waters, using traditional Skolt Sámi fishing methods.
During the trip, you may choose to receive guidance in the art of fishing or enjoy a more independent experience. With the help of your guide, you also have the opportunity to prepare your own catch over an open fire.

Fishing is part of Skolt Sámi culture
Jouko, our local guide, personally leads every trip. He grew up in Sevettijärvi, learning the skills of fishing, reindeer herding and life in the wilderness through traditions passed down from generation to generation. Skolt Sámi is his mother tongue, and he is happy to share stories that reveal the true rhythm of life in the North.
Through his guidance, a fishing trip becomes more than a day outdoors — it becomes a journey into a culture where nature has always been respected and lived with in balance.
During the trips, you may hear old fishing stories, learn to read the signs of nature, and see how traditional knowledge is woven into modern, responsible fishing practices. Every moment spent with your guide is a reminder that nature is not a backdrop — it is home, to be approached with respect, just as it always has been.
